The sound is being played and the voices over emphasize the trailer, this is because the non diegetic sound which has been used in the trailer is played often when the children are able to take pleasure. As the sound track swiftly turns off the voices over are being heard, this shows the more dramatic side of the trailer, which therefore creates an Enigma for the audience to go and watch the film. The main things that are in the trailer is that it gives the aundience an idea of the film may be about. Each clip is linked to the next clip, it starts to unfold the story line. Therefore, the trailer is what attracts people to watch horror movies. Accordingly, the audience will have a brief suggestion about the film, to see whether people wpuld like to go and watch it. For example, the scene were that dangerous thing is coming towards the man on the sleigh and then showing the trial of blood, with the sound of people screaming and crying, this gives away the genre, which is a horror. Therefore it draws a wide selection of the the audience that may be interested in watching this film.

This tells us that the film will be a horror/thriller, as there are alot of scenes in the trailer that indicate blood and death. In addition, dramatic sound has also been added to the trailer, to give away the genre. Also by listening to the Non Diegetic sound being played such as the screaming and shouting this suggests that the film is a horror. Therefore, the trailer makes it is easier for the audience to identify what type of genre the film is. The trailer shows a scenes such as the children behaving violent towards the adults, therefore, the name of the film "The children" will be about the childrens behavior and actions changing throughout the film, which also indicates the film into becoming a horror.

With the information we get from watching the trailer, it shows that the primary target audience are teenagers at the age of 13-21, this is because the movie is a thriller/ horror, which indicates that it will not be suitable for little kids to watch as they may get scared. Therefore, people at the age of 13-21 will be able to watch this film. Additionally, the secondary audience can be adults at the age of 21-30, this is because the film stars pre-adults who appear to be the childrens parents or guardians. Therefore, this shows that parents may want to watch this film and be interested in it and the film is called "The children" this may attract the parents in to watching this film as it creates an Enigma.

The trailer showsth audience taht the film is worth watching, as the edited shots create an effect for the audience, in order for the audience to be able to comprehend to what is going on from the beginning to the end of the trailer. From the beginning of the trailer to the end it shows the childrens change in behaviour and their actions as they transform from sweet innocent children to frightening and scary children. Therefore, this creates an Enigma for the audience, as they try to understand everything going on throughout the trailer. So, the trailer shows the audience that the film is worth watching and it creates a dramtic effect in the end, which creates suspense, for the audience to question themselves with what might happen next, leaving them to come and watch the film.
